Vision Communications re-branded The Commercial Bank of Qatar, revitalising the Bank’s core brand identity and following with the production of all support collateral. The project, conducted over a ten month period, developed the new brand image across bank forms, stationary, brochures, leaflets, posters, cheque books, credit cards and all core collateral, across every brand touch-point in the bank.

In addition Vision designed the Bank’s website; set above and below the line layout standards; developed newsletter formats; advised on corporate wardrobe implementation and produced a full corporate identity manual.

Working with the Bank’s London-based consultants; Financial Design Partnership (FDP), the firm created and designed all retail branch signage systems and integrated the new brand into the Bank’s retail environments. Vision also created both above and below the line campaigns for various tactical promotions and projects.

 

 

Four months after development work conclusion Vision conducted a branch-wide identity audit to report on brand implementation compliance.

Following the launch of Commercialbank’s new identity, Vision Communications developed an updated signage system for the Bank. Vision developed the concept of 3-dimensional ‘branded pods’, separating branding zones from building extent signage to create a modular and highly flexible system for application across diverse branch architecture. Vision then implemented the design through the creation of specification manuals for both exterior and interior signage systems.

Some years after the initial branding exercise the firm continues to work with Commercial Bank of Qatar and is currently engaged on a bank-wide brand position redefinition project, together with projects involving branding and strategic positioning of newly developed offerings such as Private banking and Islamic banking.
